About Metro Management, Inc.

Metro Management, Inc. is a property management company recently created by Mark Hatcher and Steve Miller, both having over 16 years experience in the business of property management.

Since starting the business in November 2001, we have successfully turned around eight (8) apartment complexes in the Oklahoma City area. Initially, the complexes suffered from negative cash flow, high turn over and low occupancy. Currently they are all enjoying near 100% occupancy, lowered turn over rates, and actual cash flow from operations.

There are no real secrets to our success. Operating a property profitably requires only hard work, constant attention to detail, and quality people who have a thorough knowledge of the business and who treat the property as if it were their own. These concepts are, needless to say, much easier to promise than to deliver. We only promise what we can deliver. We believe the owners we currently work with will attest to that fact.

MARK HATCHER

Responsibility on the Team
At Metro Management Inc., Mark is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the multi-housing portfolio. This includes an ongoing responsibility and accountability for the performance of the managers, leasing agents, and the on-site staff. Mark works to see that budgets are adhered to, and acts as the liaison, when necessary, for tenant complaints. He is actively involved in developing and coordinating all marketing and leasing activities. Mark provides ongoing input and analysis on the marketing efforts and policies relative to the apartment market as a whole.

Career Summary
Before co founding Metro Management Inc, Mark worked for Grubb and Ellis as the Director of Multi-Family Services responsible for over 2500 units in the metro. At G&M Investments Mark’s focus was on training and motivating over 120 employees. He directed a $5 million renovation as part of an aggressive marketing initiative.

At Metro Management, Inc. Steve is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the commercial property portfolio and assists Mark Hatcher in the Multi-family portfolio.

Career Summary
Before co-founding Metro Management, Steve worked as the Director of Property Management for Grubb and Ellis. Steve has over 20 years of real estate management experience, and has managed high rise office buildings, shopping malls, strip centers, office /industrial buildings, and multi-family housing

Responsibility on the Team

At Metro Management, Inc. Beth is responsible for over-seeing on-site property managers and completing daily deposits for the multi-family projects. She is also in charge of AP/AR, as well as payroll. She schedules the weekly managers meetings, coordinate with property managers on marketing, and assists Mark Hatcher and Steve Miller on other property issues.

Career Summary
Before joining the team at Metro Management, Beth worked as an onsite Property manager for approximately 12 years. She has managed multi-properties with responsibility for all on-site issues including maintenance, staffing, rent collection and tenant retention.
